Möbius Attends TUMC Conference

October 17, 2025

Members of the Möbius Mathematics Society attended the Texas Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (TUMC) at St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Over the course of the conference, students heard contributed presentations on a variety of mathematical topics and connected with peers from other universities.

Highlights included plenary talks by Kate Meyer, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Carleton College, and Brian Miceli, Professor of Mathematics at Trinity University in San Antonio. The program also included a graduate school fair and panel discussions that offered insight into future academic and career opportunities.

For our students, the trip was a valuable chance to engage with the broader mathematics community and see what undergraduate research and graduate study can look like beyond Baylor.
