Practical information:
Getting to Waco: The easiest way to get to Waco is to fly to Waco (ACT). Another good option (usually cheaper and sometimes faster) is to fly to Dallas (DFW). From DFW to Waco it is possible to take a bus (with a connection), an Uber (around $120) or a shuttle (https://www.waco-streak.com/ ). From Waco to DFW the best option is to take a direct FlixBus bus to the airport (leaves Waco at 11:50AM and arrives at 2:10PM). You can also book other buses or a shuttle but I would not recommend Uber as it is not reliable.
Wi-Fi connection: Plan on using eduroam if you have it. If you don't have it, get it now if your institution is a member. Other possibilities exist but are far inferior and cumbersome to organize.
Parking: If you plan to park a car on campus during the conference, please find helpful information here. Please also register for a visitor parking permit.
The visiting parking slots comprise the first 3 rows starting from the left when facing the main entrance of Sid Richardson, the mathematics building (between 3rd and 4th street); the curb is marked in green. (Faculty and Staff parking slots are to the right of the visitor slots and the curb is marked in yellow.)
Organizing Committee:
- Marcos Mazari-Armida (Baylor University)
- Daniel Herden (Baylor University)
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation DMS 2519783, the Department of Mathematics of Baylor University and the Weidenweber Mathematics Fund.
