Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award Winner

Congratulations to the Department of Mathematics’ Blanca Radillo-Murguía, who has been selected as one of the recipients of this year’s Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award. She earned this recognition from the Graduate School for her research in harmonic analysis, conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Hagelstein, focusing on weak-type bounds of geometric maximal operators.

The Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award is presented to doctoral or MFA students who have advanced to candidacy and demonstrated exceptional research accomplishments. Recipients are evaluated on the strength of their completed or ongoing scholarly projects, involvement in research activities and conferences, professional presentations and publications, future research goals, and a supporting recommendation from a faculty mentor.
