1st Annual Mathematics Family Picnic

On Sunday, March 24th the Baylor Math Department hosted our 1st Annual Mathematics Family Picnic out at Cameron Park. Despite the very windy afternoon the picnic was a huge success. Close to 100 happy faces enjoyed Dubl-R Burgers, homemade sides, and desserts galore.

It wasn’t all about the food though. Our graduate students challenged the faculty to some soccer, cornhole, frisbee and Bocce Ball. The wind even made great weather for kite-flying. Let’s not forget the bounce castle which was a big hit with the little kids.

This picnic was such a success we are making this an annual event. See you all next Spring for another round of fun!
