Mobius Club Attends Mathematical Conference

Mobius Mathematics Society had a great time attending the annual Mathematical Association of America conference this year at Tarleton State University. Highlights of the conference included hearing from Dr. Talithia Williams, host of Nova's Zero to Infinity and Dr. Edward Burger, past Cherry Award recipient. Lectures about the mathematics of folding paper, juggling, counting cards (no gambling involved), and using Twitter to predict Wordle scores, among other things, kept the interest of those attending. The well-prepared meal at the annual banquet was a special treat to be remembered.
