Congratulations to Cordell Hammon for receiving the 2021-2022 Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award.
In March of this year, Cordell was nominated for the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award by the graduate school. This nomination was due to the strong student evaluations he received from his Fall 2021 Business Calculus class.
Cordell said, “I do not know what the math department puts in the water, but we have a history of producing great teachers. For the last 4 years the Graduate School has given out this award there has been a recipient from the math department.”
